主讲人简介:曹周键,北京师范大学教授,国家重点研发计划项目首席,专门从事引力波天文学特别是数值相对论的研究。建立和改进了数值相对论算法Z4c,该算法被国际众多数值相对论小组使用并被日本专家写入数值相对论教科书;建立了椭圆轨道双黑洞完备引力波模板SEOBNRE,该模板被LIGO模板构建首席科学家评价为相关的首个模板;发展了引力波模板构建和数据分析的AI方法。

活动简介:As ground‑based gravitational‑wave detectors continue to uncover an increasing number of novel and significant gravitational‑wave events, gravitational‑wave astronomy is developing at a rapid pace. Coupled with the successful missions of LISA Pathfinder, Taiji‑1 and Tianqin‑1, a growing number of nations and research teams are ramping up investment in space‑based gravitational‑wave detection. At present, the European‑American LISA space gravitational‑wave mission has been formally approved. China’s Taiji and Tianqin programmes, together with Japan’s DECIGO, are also being actively advanced. Against this backdrop of fruitful cooperation and competition among these four projects, space‑based gravitational‑wave detectors are expected to commence operation in ten years’ time. Gravitational‑wave theoretical templates constitute a vital theoretical foundation for gravitational‑wave data processing, while numerical relativity serves as the core technique for constructing such templates. This report will present to the audience the recent and future advances in gravitational‑wave astronomy, as well as numerical‑relativity techniques and their role in gravitational‑wave data analysis.
